Dennis specializes in estate planning and administration; tax and business planning; employee benefits, compensation, stock incentives and retirement planning; tax exempt organizations, including charitable trusts and private foundations; tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service and various states; asset protection planning; and wills and trusts.

Prior to joining Sweeney Lev, Dennis was a solo practitioner specializing in federal and state taxation, an associate at the Washington D.C. law firm of Finley, Kumble, and a senior tax accountant at Peat, Marwick Mitchell & Co.

Dennis has been a lecturer on estate and business planning at the American Institute of Financial Services and on family limited partnerships and private foundations at the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He is also the author of "Estate Planning with Family Limited Partnerships," which was published in the September 15, 1997 edition of New Jersey Lawyer.

Dennis is a graduate of Georgetown University (B.S.B.A. 1975) and earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Law and Taxation degrees at the College of William and Mary (J.D. 1979, M.L.T. 1982). He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Dennis is admitted to practice in the States of New Jersey and New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Taxation; Real Property, Probate and Trust) and the New Jersey State Bar Association (Taxation).
